Stay Well Pharmacy was founded by Primary Healthcare pharmacist and local karate instructor Mark Webster. Mark is a passionate educator in the benefit of nutritional supplements and the body's need for vitamins and minerals to support optimal health.
In 1990, Mark was completing his pharmacy internship at the former Tavener's Pharmacy in Hornby's Witham St. He travelled and worked overseas for a time, expanding and refining his knowledge along the way. Originally believing that eating well was enough for good health, Mark returned to New Zealand knowing the picture was much bigger than that!
Mark purchased Tavener's Pharmacy in 2001; then, in 2006, moved the pharmacy to its current site at 27 Shands Road, rebranding as Stay Well Pharmacy. Over the years, Mark has stayed at the forefront of developments in the fields of nutritional, environmental and anti-ageing medicine through his associations with the American and Australasian Associations of Anti-Ageing Medicine and the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. This ensures that Stay Well Pharmacy offers you only the best in holistic health advice and services.

Mark is an experienced Naturopathic Pharmacist and an associate member of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM). He is a member of the Australasian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine (A5M) and the American Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine (A4M) and has completed a Fellowship in Metabolic and Nutritional medicine through A4M. He is currently completing his Masters of Science degree in Integrative medicine through George Washington University.
